Karate Camp 2022

The 2022 Summer Camp is planned to be on Friday 26th to Sunday 28th August. We depart from the dojos at tea-time on the Friday, returning the same time Sunday. The camp is back on again this year and will be at Squirrel Wood, Burghwallis; Hopefully, the weather will be as kind to us as the last camp with dry nights as well as days!

We have managed to maintain the cost of the camp to: £35 all-in per attendee. This will include: accommodation (tents), transport for those needing it, all food and refreshments. To keep costs to a minimum, we will happily accept donations (of food, snacks or drinks, NOT MONEY) at the time of the camp. We realise this can be expensive for larger families so MAXIMUM cost will be £100.00 per family.

On previous summer camps, the format has been to include a variety of different activities, not just martial arts, but the biggest activity is having FUN!

At the moment, there will be at least five black belts in attendance and several senior (Sempai) grades who will assist in instructing and managing the camp and teams.

Please could you fill in the form below by the 30th June 2022 if you think you may be interested in attending.

Please note: any child aged 8 or under MUST be accompanied by an adult. Friends of students are also allowed to attend the camp.

Thank you. Yours in Budo,
Al Friedle – Sensei; Chief Instructor
